Going Home for Good
The Going Home for Good team was presented with Senate Resolution 336. The resolution stated in part, “… The members of the Senate of the 131st General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction Ohio Certified Public Manager training team on receiving the 2015 President’s Award from the Ohio Certified Public Manager Society.”
This group received the prestigious honor of being chosen as Project of the Year at the Ohio CPM Leadership Conference in October 2015. The team provided ODRC with a strategic plan that promotes ODRC’s mission and vision by supplying individuals with the skills needed to be a productive member of society. Following completion of the project, it was implemented at the Ross Correctional Institute in Chillicothe.
Award recipients included: Irene C. Lyons, CPM, Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections; Sarah Harter, CPM, Ohio Environmental Protection Agency; Christina Miller, CPM, Ohio Department of Aging; and Scott McFadden, CPM, Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation.
